Meet Sheila
Sheila Paul is a practicing Licensed Psychotherapist (LICSW), Certified Coach, and Registered Yoga Instructor (RYT200) who leads with grace and compassion. A survivor of both cancer and domestic abuse, Sheila’s mission is to empower individuals on their healing journeys by providing clients with the lifelong skills necessary to grow and thrive.
After being diagnosed with a terminal illness, Sheila set out to heal herself from the inside out—and she succeeded with the help and permission of God. With this success, Sheila decided to share her breadth of knowledge and insight with others who find themselves feeling stuck, ready to give up, or just frustrated with the state of their physical, mental, and/or spiritual health.
Sheila earned her Masters of Social Work from Simmons University in Boston. Rooted in a holistic approach, Sheila helps people restore a sense of long term wellbeing through a series of actionable, achievable daily practices. While Sheila coaches people from all walks of life, her specialty—and a deep source of joy—is working with women of color.
Fueled by a “love for life,” Sheila leads clients on a path supported by community care through the Sisters Thrive program. Because the pursuit of health is a lifelong journey, Sheila wants every single one of her clients to walk away feeling confident, empowered, resilient, and filled with a renewed sense of hope to buoy them forward. As Sheila explains, “My life isn’t perfect, it has its challenges. And yet I wake up feeling joy and gratitude. I experience beauty every single day because of the daily habits I learned through the Sister Thrive program.”
